• Install Outdoors: Prefer outdoor locations like garages or outbuildings with proper fire separation.
• Avoid High-Risk Locations: Do not install in bedrooms, escape routes, lofts, basements, or near flammable materials.
• Limit Capacity: 80kWh in detached or fire-separated outbuildings and 40kWh elsewhere.
• Ensure Fire Safety: Include fire-resistant enclosures, smoke/fire alarms (Grade D2, LD2), and proper ventilation.
• Label Clearly: Install warning labels at the electrical installation origin, metering point, and consumer unit.
• Protect Against Damage: Use impact barriers for batteries near external walls or garages.
• Secure Electrical Components: Enclosures and connections must prevent accidental access and require tools for maintenance
